SUNNY BEAMThe Sunny Beam represents the ultimate in wireless system performance monitoring. Completely updated for 2008, the new Sunny Beam features Bluetooth wireless technology for improved performance and versatility. The Sunny Beam communicates wirelessly with up to 12 Sunny Boy inverters and graphically displays all of the key performance data of your solar system. It features fully automatic plant monitoring, including an audible alert signal. The Sunny Beam simultaneously displays power output, daily energy production and the total energy production of the system. It may also be configured to display other parameters such as the overall CO2 offset of your system, as well as your earnings in dollars. One-hundred days worth of system performance data can be recorded and stored, and can then be transferred to a PC simply via USB interface. Using the new and included Sunny Beam Webconnect software, the data can in turn be transferred to Sunny Portal for long-term storage, display, and evaluation.
Setting up the Sunny Beam is fast and easy via an intuitive set of user menus. Simply install an antenna and communication module in each of the Sunny Boy inverters and step through the configuration screens. The Sunny Beam is powered by a set of internal batteries which are kept charged by the integrated solar cell.
