SMA Design Reserve of 38% ensures higher availability and a longer service life
The SMA Sunny Central 2500-EV and 2500-EV-US inverters are designed specifically for 1,500V PV power plants. Their stack design features 2x 1,200V IGBTs connected in series. Other inverters used for 1,500V DC voltages are often equipped with only one 1,700V IGBT. With a voltage reserve of 900 V, SMA thus offers a Design Reserve of 38% that meets availability and service life requirements to accomplish true 1,500 V DC systems.
Benefits of the stack design:
The SMA Design Reserve facilitates additional yields of over 25% thanks to supersizing
The superior SMA stack design allows the PV field to be supersized by 150% without affecting the inverter’s service life.
SMA benefits:
Maximum system integration lowers transport costs and minimizes installation times
SMA benefits:
SMA solutions for maximum comfort and cutting-edge products:
From turnkey systems, individual system components such as inverters and DC devices, the SMA portfolio also includes monitoring, servicing and comprehensive O&M services for 1,500 V PV power plants.
