Oregon, 875 kW AC
Iseli Nursery
Iseli Nursery is a wholesale plant nursery located in Boring, Oregon. The decision to go solar was driven by rising electricity costs and the desire to reduce operating expenses. Pure Energy Group, a renewable energy solutions provider, completed a solar installation at the site with support from the USDA REAP Grant, which made the project possible.
The system features SMA Sunny Highpower PEAK3 inverters, fixed‑tilt ground‑mounted arrays, and Trina Solar modules. The installation offsets approximately 50% of the nursery’s electricity consumption and delivers an estimated annual energy production of 1.273 GWh.
“Pure Energy worked alongside helpful material suppliers like SMA for the inverter, Greentech Renewables for the panels, and Unirac for the racking to bring Iseli Nursery’s large PV system into fruition. Nestled in the foothills of Mt. Hood on a southern slope, this system should annually produce over 1.273 GWh of power, which is enough to run over 200 homes for a year!”
