SMA Announces Rebate Program for Power+ Solution

Residential Installers to Receive a Bonus for Installations from August through Year’s End

Today SMA announced a new rebate program for its innovative Power+ Solution. With the Power+ Payday, residential installers can receive a $50 pre-paid debit reward card for each Power+ Solution that is installed and registered in Sunny Portal between August 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017. Quantities will not be limited.

“The Power+ Solution is already helping installers save time and money, and now SMA has taken it to the next level by giving installers additional cash in their pockets,” said Charles Ellis, vice president of distributed sales for SMA America. “We know that solar installers appreciate fast, cost-effective and high-performing solar solutions. Power+ reduces cost and risk, delivers speed and performance, and now with the Power+ Payday program, it offers even more savings.”

Obtaining the rebate is simple. First, installers must purchase from an Authorized Distributor. Then, they just need to submit purchase information along with proof of purchase online. SMA will mail pre-paid debit reward cards directly to recipients.

SMA’s Power+ Solution is redefining what it means to optimize a residential PV system using MLPE. Combining the proven Sunny Boy-US inverter with the TS4-R Module Level Power Electronics (MLPE), the Power+ Solution cost-effectively optimizes residential PV systems and ensures higher energy yields. The solution can be applied per module for operational simplicity, or selectively for faster installation. With the Power+ Solution, integrators can choose to apply the technology in a way that optimizes ROI for their individual business model.

Installers can submit a Power+ Payday rebate claim here.
