Need to replace an inverter? Request a replacement in the Online Service Center as long as your product is within the standard factory or extended warranty window.
Create a case for replacement in the Online Service Center and a replacement device will be shipped within 48 hours upon approval. Please note, the remaining warranty period transfers to the replacement device.

Register Your PV System
You or your installer will create, register and add devices to your PV system in Sunny Portal powered by ennexOS, a cloud-based platform from SMA for monitoring, control and analysis of solar systems.
Requirements: Internet connection, registration key (RID) and product identification key (PIC) from the device.
Activate and Extend Warranty
The SMA factory warranty applies to all new devices but only starts after commissioning. To activate it correctly, product registration in the SMA Online Service Center, is required:
Go to https://my.sma-service.com.
Create an SMA ID or log in with an existing ID.
Enter the serial number and commissioning date of your SMA product.
Complete registration and receive confirmation by email.*
SMA offers options to extend the warranty beyond the factory warranty. Detailed information on our warranty extensions can be found here.
*Installers can also start the warranty process, but will need the homeowners support in confirming via email.
