Cross City Church Solar Carport Installation, 2024
Nestled within the bustling community of Clovis, California, Cross City Church partnered with Turnkey Energy to transform their parking lot into a dual-purpose solution – combining sustainability with community service. This 827.55 kWdc solar carport installation provides shaded parking for congregation members while dramatically reducing annual utility costs.
Since commissioning in December 2024, the church has achieved remarkable energy offset, creating a comprehensive sustainability hub that includes 10 EV charging stations.
“This solar carport project represents our commitment to both environmental stewardship and serving our community's practical needs. The combination of clean energy generation, covered parking, and EV charging stations creates a comprehensive solution that benefits our congregation while reducing our operational costs."
